Manjushree Technopack FY'11 net profit up 40%

BANGALORE: Packaging solution provider Manjushree Technopack today said its net profit in 2010-11 rose by 40 per cent to Rs 14.79 crore, spurred by strong demand from Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and beverage sector.
The company's net profit in 2009-10 was at Rs 10.57 crore, it said.
Its turnover in 2010-11 rose by 45 per cent to Rs 216.17 crore, from Rs 149.03 crore in the previous fiscal.
The company further said it planned to invest Rs 150 crore in its new manufacturing facility here, expected to be operational by mid-2012.
