Mumbai: Infrastructure company Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday reported a 33% year-on-year increase in quarterly net profit, helped by healthy order inflows amid strong infrastructure spending and reconstruction activity in the Middle East despite the ongoing conflict. Revenue for the quarter rose 16% year-on-year to ₹78,750 crore, "driven by accelerated progress in the various business in the projects, products & manufacturing portfolio", the company said.

L&T secured orders worth ₹1,47,665 crore during the quarter, marking a 28% y-o-y growth. It also secured several high-value orders, led by Hydrocarbon - Offshore & Onshore, CarbonLite Solutions, Public Spaces & Airports, and Power Transmission & Distribution businesses. International orders stood at ₹92,375 crore, accounting for 63% to the total order inflow.
