Liquor firm Radico Khaitan Q1 net profit up 2% at Rs 21 crore
The company posted a net profit of Rs 20.74 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, Radico Khaitan said in a BSE filing.
NEW DELHI: Liquor firm Radico Khaitan posted a rise of 1.78 per cent at Rs 21.11 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2012.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 20.74 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, Radico Khaitan said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 290.84 crore for the June quarter, as compared to Rs 281.81 crore in the same period of 2011-12 fiscal.
"We continue to focus on building upon our strong brand portfolio and enhance profitability through operational efficiencies and cost optimisation," Radico Khaitan Chairman and Managing Director Lalit Khaitan said in a statement.
The company sells various brands like Magic Moments vodka, Morpheus brandy and 8 PM whisky, in the country.
Shares of Radico Khaitan today closed at Rs 108 apiece on the BSE, up 1.65 per cent from its previous close.
