LIC Housing Finance reports 19.18 % jump in Q3 net profit

NEW DELHI: LIC Housing Finance on Monday reported a 19.18 percent YoY rise in net profit quarter for the quarter ended December 31, 2016.
For the quarter under review, the company reported a standalone net profit of Rs 499.26 crore compared with Rs 418.90 crore in the same period last year.
Total standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 3,512.52 crore, up 13.24 per cent YoY from Rs 3,101.75 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Income from operations stood at Rs 3.527.93 crore, up 12.38 per cent compared with Rs 3,139.21 crore reported in the same quarter last year.
LIC Housing Finance reported an operating profit of Rs 0 crore for the quarter ended december compared with Rs 2985.872 crore a year earlier.
The stock is currently trading at Rs 537.80 on NSE up by 1.37 per cent.
