Kitex Garments clocks 8% rise in profit in Q2

Kochi: Kitex Garments clocked a net profit of Rs 26.15 crore for Q2 of 2018-19, an increase of 8.38% from a year ago. The revenue stood at Rs 181 crore , up by 20% from last year.

Total Revenue for half year ended September 30,2018 stood at Rs 313 crore, as compared to Rs. 282 crore a year ago, a growth of 11.1 %. Net Profit was at Rs. 44.7 crore for the first six months as compared to Rs. 42.08 crore a year ago

Commenting on the financial performance Sabu M Jacob, MD and CEO, said “The growth for the second quarter is as per our expectation. We are happy that we are able to achieve what we have projected earlier”.
