Karnataka Bank Q4 net dips 19% at Rs 67.39 crore
Private sector lender Karnataka Bank today reported a 19 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 67.39 crore for the fourth quarter ended March.
Net profit of the bank stood at Rs 83.16 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, the bank said in a filing to BSE today.
Total income for the review period rose by 14 per cent to Rs 1,090.32 crore over the corresponding period of year-ago period.
For fiscal 2012-13, net profit of the bank stood at Rs 348 crore, up 41 per cent over FY12.
As per the filing to the exchange, gross NPA of the private lender improved to 2.51 per cent from 3.27 per cent a year earlier.
Net NPA also improved to 1.51 per cent from 2.11 per cent reported a year ago.
