Kansai Nerolac Q3 net profit up 33.67% to Rs 65.66 crore

NEW DELHI: Kansai Nerolac Paints today reported a 33.67 per cent increase in its standalone net profit at Rs 65.66 crore for the third quarter ended on December 31, 2014.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 49.12 crore for the October-December period of previous fiscal, Kansai Nerolac Paints said in a BSE filing.

Its net sales during the quarter under review increased 7.63 per cent to Rs 884.29 crore as compared to Rs 821.58 crore during the same period in the previous fiscal.

Kansai Nerolac is the second largest coating company in India and a market leader in industrial coatings.

Shares of the company today closed at Rs 2,428.85 per scrip on the BSE, down 1.59 per cent from its previous close
