Jubilant Industries net loss at Rs 10.04 crore in April-June quarter

NEW DELHI: Chemicals and fertiliser maker Jubilant Industries today reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 10.04 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 16.52 crore in the year-ago period.

The consolidated net sales of the company rose to Rs 239.41 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal from Rs 223.57 crore in the same quarter of the 2011-12 fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.

Jubilant manufactures fertilisers, pesticides, industrial chemical and performance polymers.

Shares of the company today fell by 2.38 per cent to settle at Rs 170 a piece from its previous close at the BSE.
