JSPL's net loss narrows to Rs 746 cr in Jul-Sept qtr
Its total expenses were higher at Rs 4,815.75 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 4,577.96 crore in the same period last year.

The company's performance was affected by low demand, high raw material prices and the impact of the monsoon.
JSPL's standalone turnover went down during the quarter under review to Rs 3,126 crore against Rs 3,175 crore in Q2FY16. During the second quarter this year, the company's crude steel production stood at 0.88 million tonne while steel sales touched 0.81 million tonne.
