JSPL Q3 standalone net up 54 per cent to Rs 502 cr

NEW DELHI: Jindal Steel and Power Ltd ( JSPL) on Monday reported 54.14 per cent standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 31 at Rs 501.93 crore on higher sales.

The Navin Jindal-led firm had reported Rs 325.62 crore net profit in the October-December quarter last fiscal, it said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

JSPL's total income during the third quarter of current fiscal stood at Rs 2,410.23 crore vis-a-vis 1,780.44 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.

The scrip of the compamy was trading at Rs 699.25 a share at the BSE at 15.45 today, up by 0.04 per cent over previous day's closing.
