Jain Irrigation Q1 net loss widens to Rs 60.33 crore
Jain Irrigation Systems today reported a loss of Rs 60.33 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2013, due to rise in expenses.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 48.74 crore during the same period last year.
Total income increased to Rs 1409.44 crore during the April-June quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 1,263.74 crore in the same period last year.
The company reported loss as its total expenses increased to Rs 1,248.35 crore.
The company manufactures drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, solar water heating systems and agro-processed products, among others.
Shares of the company closed higher by 6.69 per cent at Rs 54.20 apiece on the BSE.
