InterGlobe Aviation posts 25.1% drop in profit at Rs 486.5 crore
Mumbai: InterGlobe Aviation, which operates under brand IndiGo, posted a 25.1 per cent decline in its net profit hurt by lower yields and rising fuel prices.

India's biggest airline by market share posted a net profit of Rs 486.5 crore in October-December compared with Rs 650 crore a year earlier. Total revenue rose 16 per cent to Rs 4,943.1 crore.

The airlines' yields dropped 16 per cent. Fuel costs rose to Rs 1671.2 crore from Rs 1165.8 crore.
