Inox Wind Q2 Results: Company reports Rs 90 crore profit, revenue up 93%

Inox Wind Limited (IWL) has reported a profit of Rs 90 crore in the July-September quarter compared to a loss of Rs 27 crore in the year-earlier period.

The quarterly revenue increased 93% year-on-year to Rs 742 crore from Rs 384 crore.

“The strong Q2 performance is another firm indication of the massive growth trajectory that Inox Wind is poised to deliver,” said Devansh Jain, executive director, INOXGFL Group.


IWL is on course to achieve its best-ever full-year profitability in FY25, the company said in a statement. The company has received orders worth 1.2 GW and the order book now stands at 3.3 GW. Its customers comprise a mix of public sector companies, independent power producers, commercial & industrial, and retail consumers. The company executed orders worth 140 MW in the second quarter as against 77 MW in the year-ago period.

“We are also focusing on several means to increase our profits in the years ahead with the launch of larger blades, commercialisation of new products and backward integration,” said Kailash Tarachandani, CEO of Inox Wind.

Ahead of earnings, shares in Inox Wind fell 3% to Rs 203 apiece on Friday when the BSE Sensex closed 0.8% lower.

IWL is an integrated player in the wind energy market with four manufacturing plants in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, where blades, tubular towers, as well as hubs & nacelles are manufactured.
