Indigo's revenue jumped 30% on a sequential basis as the company had reported a topline of Rs 16,970 crore in Q2FY25 while reporting a net loss at Rs 987 crore in July-September quarter.
Indigo's profit decline could be attributed to a 20% jump in its expenses which stood at Rs 20,466 crore versus Rs 17,064 crore in the year ago period.
Indigo's PAT margins dropped by 430 bps in Q3FY25 to 11.1% from 15.4% reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The EBITDAR or Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, Amortisation and Restructuring was reported at Rs 6059 crore which was 10.7% higher over Rs 5,475 crore reported in the year ago period.
Available Seat Kilometers (ASK), which measures an airline's capacity to carry passengers, stood at 4,080 crore versus 3,650 crore, witnessing a 12% YoY uptick.
Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPK), which measures the number of passengers carried by an airline, stood at 3,550 crotre versus 3,130 crore, recording a 13.5% YoY uptick.
The airline's load factor increased by 120 bps to 86.9% in Q3FY25 versus 85.8% in Q3FY24.
