NEW DELHI: Indiabulls Power today said its net loss for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 nearly doubled to Rs 39.35 crore from Rs 13.74 crore in the same period last financial year.

The company reported a total income of Rs 10.04 crore during the April-June quarter of the current fiscal, Indiabulls said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchange.

The comparable income figure for the corresponding period in the last year was not available.

The company is constructing two coal-based projects having capacity of 2700 MW each at Nandgaonpeth in Amravati district and Sinnar in Nashik district.

These plants will be fuelled by coal from state-run Coal India.
