ICRA Q4 profit up two-fold at Rs 22.50 crore

NEW DELHI: Rating agency ICRA today posted two-fold jump in net profit at Rs 22.50 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012.

The company had a net profit of Rs 11.25 crore during the January-March quarter in the previous financial year.

Total income of the company in the quarter rose to Rs 43.30 crore, compared to Rs 38.54 crore in the same quarter a year ago, ICRA said in a filing to the BSE.

ICRA has proposed a dividend of 200 per cent, or Rs 20 per share, on the face value of Rs 10 per share for 2011-12, it said.

For the full financial year ended March, 2012, ICRA reported a 13.6 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 50.89 crore, as compared to Rs 44.91 crore in the previous fiscal.

Total income rose to Rs 139.36 crore in the financial year 2011-12 from Rs 129.30 crore in the fiscal 2010-11.
