Hinduja Global Solutions report lower Q4 net profit

CHENNAI: IT and ITeS company Hinduja Global Solutions today reported a drop of over Rs ten crore in its net profit for fourth quarter of 2009-10 compared to the correponding period a year ago.

The company's net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2010 stood at Rs 25.97 crore compared to Rs 36.05 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a release.

However, for the year ended March 31, 2010, the company clocked a net profit Rs 130.08 crore against Rs 93.72 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Net sales for the fourth quarter fetched Rs 223.20 crore as against Rs 218.27 crore in the same period of last year.

For the year ending March 31, 2010 the net sales of the company stood at Rs 892.34 crore compared to Rs 797.56 crore in the same period a year ago, the release added.
