Hero MotoCorp Q4 standalone profit rises 6% to Rs 1,081 crore despite lower volumes

Hero MotoCorp posts record full-year earnings and beats Q4 profit estimates, despite a slight dip in volumes, aided by improved margins and cost efficiency.

The country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp Tuesday beat street estimates to report 6% increase in standalone net profit at Rs 1,080.94 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025.

The company had posted net profit of Rs 1016.05 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Revenues from operations rose 4% to Rs 9938.65 crore in the period under consideration. Hero MotoCorp sold 13.81 lakh two-wheelers last quarter, which is a dip of 0.8% over 13.92 lakh units sold in the year-ago period.


For the entire financial year, the company reported highest-ever revenue from operations and profit after tax at Rs 40,756 crore and Rs 4.610 crore, respectively. EBITDA (Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) margin stood at 14.4%, which is an improvement of 40 bps in comparison to previous year; driven by a favourable product mix, enhanced cost efficiencies and commodity costs.
