Hero MotoCorp Q4 net up 20% at Rs 603.59 cr

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 501.61 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011, Hero MotoCorp said in a filing to BSE.

NEW DELHI: The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today reported a 20.33 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 603.59 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 over the same period of previous fiscal.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 501.61 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011, Hero MotoCorp said in a filing to BSE.

Total Income of the company increased to Rs 6,139.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 from Rs 5,471.30 crore for the corresponding period of previous fiscal.

The company's Board of Directors have recommended a final dividend at the rate of 2250 per cent, Rs 45 per equity share of Rs 2 each, for the financial year 2011-12, Hero MotoCorp said.

Shares of Hero MotoCorp today closed at Rs 2,245 on BSE, up 0.45 per cent from its previous close.
