HDFC AMC Q1 profit jumps 42% YoY to Rs 292 crore

HDFC Asset Management Company on Tuesday reported 42.15 per cent year-on-year rise in profit at Rs 291.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30. The company had posted a profit of Rs 205.26 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from operation increased 7.03 per cent YoY to Rs 504.39 crore in Q1FY19 over Rs 471.23 crore in Q1FY18.

Total expenses of the company declined to Rs 122.86 crore during the quarter under review against Rs 206.55 crore in the same period last year.


Shares of the company were trading 1.04 per cent up at Rs 1,954.70 after the announcement of quarterly results, while the BSE Sensex was up 255 points, or 0.66 per cent at 39152 at around 2.43 pm (IST).
