BANGALORE: Leading Navratna company, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited HAL registered sale of Rs 11,415 crore, for 2009-10, up by 10 percent from last year.
The order book swelled by over Rs 12,000 crore during the year with new orders for domestic and export projects.
As per the provisional financial results, the firm's profit before tax stood at Rs 2617 crore, growth of 12 percent.
An interim dividend of Rs 300 crore has been declared for the year 2009-10, a release said.
The major achievement of HAL during the year has been taking off of the maiden flight of the prototype of the indigenously-designed Light Combat Helicopter, introduction of a new military variant of the ALH-Mk II.
