Granules India posts Rs 461-cr revenue

On a standalone basis, the company has achieved sales of Rs 386.19 cr and a net profit of Rs 23.95 cr.

New Delhi: Granules India Ltd, a vertically integrated formulation manufacturer, has on a consolidated basis posted revenue of Rs 461.09 crore and a net profit of Rs 30.37 cr for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010. On a standalone basis, the company has achieved sales of Rs 386.19 cr and a net profit of Rs 23.95 cr.

“Over the past year, Granules has taken several steps to strengthen the company’s long-term growth trajectory. Granules signed several contracts with leading MNCs that will constitute a majority of our formulation block’s capacity when production for these orders commences later this fiscal year. We also expect to receive approval for several of our ANDAs during the current fiscal year and will promote them to customers in order to build on our reputation as a reliable, quality conscious partner,” said C. Krishna Prasad, managing director of Granules.
