Godrej Consumer Products Ltd Q3 profit jumps 13.68 per cent to Rs 195.77 crore

NEW DELHI: Godrej Consumer Products Ltd today reported 13.68 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 195.77 crore for the third quarter ended December 31. The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 172.20 crore in the same quarter last year.

Consolidated net sales during the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,978.88 crore as against Rs 1,693.84 crore in the corresponding period last year, the company said in a BSE filing. Overall expenses of the company during the quarter were at Rs 1,694.23 crore as against Rs 1,433.74 crore in the same quarter last year.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing Godrej Consumer informed the BSE that its board has declared a third interim dividend of Rs 1 per share (100 per cent on the shares of the face value of Rs 1 each) for the financial year 2013-14.
