Gitanjali Gems Q2 net profit at Rs 132 crore; stock up

MUMBAI: Gitanjali Gems reported consolidated net profit of Rs 132.24 crore for quarter ended September 2011 against Rs 123.23 crore a quarter ago. Net sales were at Rs 3167.64 crore as compared to Rs 2595.32 in last quarter.

The stock was at Rs 355.85, up 0.72 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 360.95 and low of Rs 350.50 in trade so far.
