GAIL Q2 PAT seen down 10% at Rs 986 crore

The company’s subsidy sharing burden is likely to remain unchanged at Rs 700 crore compared to the same quarter last fiscal.

MUMBAI: GAIL’s net profit for the quarter ended September 2012 is likely to dip 9.8 per cent to Rs 986 crore as compared to a net profit of Rs 1,094 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, according to ET Now poll.

Net Sales are seen at Rs 11,184 crore, up 15 per cent, against Rs 9,699 crore in the year ago period.

The company’s subsidy sharing burden is likely to remain unchanged at Rs 700 crore compared to the same quarter last fiscal.

The margins are seen at 17.2 per cent vs 17 per cent Year-on-Year.
