GACL Q1 profit dips by 32.51% at Rs 37.30 crore
State-PSU Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals (GACL) today reported 32.51 per cent dip in the net profit at Rs 37.30 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 55.27 crore in the corresponding period last year.
"The company has achieved sales turnover of Rs 413.38 crore for the quarter ended on June 30, 2013 as against Rs 438.51 crore, in the corresponding period of previous year," GACL Managing Director M S Dagur said in a statement.
The company's profit before tax in the first quarter of the FY:2013-14 dipped by 33.67 per cent at Rs 53.74 crore.
In the previous year, the company had reported a profit before tax of Rs 81.02 crore, in the corresponding period.
The earning per share (EPS) of the company in the first quarter stood at Rs 20.32.
