Finolex Cables Q4 PAT at Rs 18.68 cr

NEW DELHI: Pune-based Finolex Cables reported a profit after tax of Rs 18.68 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31.
The company had a net loss of Rs 5.4 crore in the corresponding period of last fiscal, Finolex Cables said in a statement.
It also reported a jump of 50.61 per cent in its profit after tax during 2010-11 at Rs 86.78 crore as against Rs 57.62 crore in the previous fiscal.
Finolex Cables' net sales went up by 16.26 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2010-11 at Rs 539.40 crore from Rs 463.96 crore in the year-sgo period.
For the whole of last fiscal, it reported a net sales of Rs 2,035.76 crore, up 25.76 crore from the figure of Rs 1,618.71 crore in 2009-10.
Finolex cables is a leading manufacturer of electrical and communications cables and its products are used in applications like automobile, lighting, cable television, telephone and computers.
