Finolex Cables Q3 PAT jumps 2.13% to Rs 26.1 cr

MUMBAI: Electrical and communication cables maker Finolex Cables today reported a 2.13 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 26.1 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010, over the same period a year ago.

The company had a net profit of Rs 12.2 crore in the corresponding period last year, Finolex Cables said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Net sales of Finolex increased to Rs 505.3 crore in the October-December quarter from Rs 413.4 crore in the same period a year-ago, it added.

Meanwhile, shares of the company settled the day at Rs 45.05 on the BSE, down 3.64 per cent from the previous close.
