Finolex Cables Q3 net rises 75% at Rs 24 crore for December quarter
Finolex Cables Ltd today said it has posted a 75 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 23.98 crore in the quarter ended December 2012.

MUMBAI: Finolex Cables Ltd today said it has posted a 75 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 23.98 crore in the quarter ended December 2012.
The net profit for the corresponding period previous fiscal stood at Rs 13.70 crore.
Net sales under review period stood at Rs 528.07 crore as against Rs 493.76 crore for the corresponding period in year 2011-12, which is a 7 percent rise from the year-ago period, a company statement said here.
While sales of electrical cables registered a growth of 20 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous year, in respect of communication cables, the quarter saw a 12 per cent growth.
The Board has also approved the company setting up a captive 5MW Solar Power Plant at its manufacturing facilities at Urse, Pune at an estimated cost of Rs 40 crore.
