Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore posts net loss of Rs 104.15 crore in April-June quarter

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) today reported a net loss of Rs 104.15 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 35.62 crore in the year-ago period.
The net sales of the company rose to Rs 521.06 crore in the April-June quarter of this fiscal from Rs 494.29 crore in the same quarter of the 2011-12 fiscal, it said in a BSE filing.
FACT, a public sector undertaking, manufactures urea and complex fertilisers. It also produces petrochemicals and provides engineering solutions for establishing petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, refining plants.
Shares of the company today fell by 1.21 per cent to settle at Rs 28.50 a piece from its previous close at the BSE.
