Everonn Education net profit up near 49% at Rs 67.63 crore

CHENNAI: Everonn Education has reported a 48.8 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 67.63 crore for the year ending March 31, 2011.

The city-based company reported net profit of Rs 45.44 crore during the same period of the previous year, a company statement here said.

Total income for the year ending March 31, 2011 stood at Rs 424.69 crore as against Rs 293.49 crore registered during the same period of the previous year, it said.

The company's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.50 per equity share, it said.

Everonn has a presence in over 27 states and works with various State Governments, the statement added.
