Escorts Agri-machinery sales jump by 17.9 per cent in May
The agricultural-Machinery segment of Escors Ltd (EAM) has registered 17.9 per cent increase in sales of tractors to 6,122 units last month.

CHENNAI: The agricultural-Machinery segment of Escorts Ltd (EAM) has registered 17.9 per cent increase in sales of tractors to 6,122 units last month.
It had sold 5,190 units in May 2012, the company said in a statement.
Sales in domestic and exports of tractors rose by 17.1 per cent to 6,188 units from 5,284 units sold in the same month of previous year, it said.
Escorts Ltd currently has diversified business entities in four different segments comprising -- Escorts Agri Machinery, Escorts Construction Equipment, Escorts Railway Products, Escorts Auto-Products, it added.
