Emcure Pharmaceuticals on Thursday reported a 38.2% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to Rs.202 crore in Q2FY25 led by strong performance of domestic and international business
The Pune-based drug maker posted Rs 145.8 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue grew by 20.4% YoY to Rs 2,002 crore, up from Rs 1,663 crore in Q2 last fiscal.
The company’s EBITDA rose 26% YoY to Rs 417 crore crore, while the EBITDA margin stood at 20.8%
The domestic business grew 15.4% YoY to Rs 933 crore in Q2FY25 led by a steady performance of base business and aided by Sanofi distribution agreement.
International business rose 25% YoY to Rs 1069 crore led by sales momentum in Canada and rest-of-the-world (RoW) markets.
