Emami net profit rises 49.15% to Rs 98.6 crore in Q2

Emami posted 49.15 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended 30-09-2017 .

For the quarter under review, the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 98.6 crore as against Rs compared with Rs. 66.11 crore in the same period last year.

Total consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 628.12 crore, up 7.63 percent YoY from Rs 583.6 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Income from operations stood at Rs 628.12 crore, up 7.45 percent compared to the income of year-ago quarter of Rs 584.57 crore.

Emami reported an operating profit of Rs 126.3 crore for the quarter ended September compared with Rs 96.19 crore a year earlier.
