Dunlop net profit at Rs 1.27 cr for FY'10
Tyre maker Dunlop India Ltd on Friday said its net profit for 2009-10 stood at Rs 1.27 crore, which was marginally lower than previous year's Rs 1.36 crore.
The total income during the year was Rs 179.19 crore compared to Rs 178.66 crore in the year-ago period.
The firm's chairman Pawan K Ruia said, "it is encouraging to note that we have been able to match last fiscal's income despite both plants of the company (Sahaganj and Ambattur) remaining operational for a short period this year.
"Problems in Dunlop have largely been sorted out. I am happy that the embargo on the rights shares of Dunlop have been lifted and are soon going to be back in trading," he added.
