DLF Q1 net up 4 pc on higher sales

DLF Ltd, India's top-listed real estate firm, on Wednesday reported its quarterly net profit rose 3.8 percent helped by a revival in demand in the country's property market that had been hit hard by an economic downturn last year.

NEW DELHI: DLF Ltd, India's top-listed real estate firm, on Wednesday reported its quarterly net profit rose 3.8 percent helped by a revival in demand in the country's property market that had been hit hard by an economic downturn last year.

New Delhi-based DLF said consolidated net profit rose to Rs 4.11 billion ($88 million) in its fiscal first-quarter ended June from Rs 3.96 billion a year ago.
