MUMBAI: Agri-chemicals maker Dhanuka Agritech on Friday reported 15 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 10.08 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
The pesticide manufacturer has reported a net profit of Rs 8.75 crore in the year-ago period, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange ( BSE).
The net sales of the company in the first quarter of the current fiscal rose by almost 18 per cent to Rs 94.22 crore compared to Rs 79.99 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
Dhanuka is involved in the manufacturing and sale of agri-chemicals and seeds.
Shares of the company today closed at Rs 105.40, down by 3.70 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
