MUMBAI: Dhanlaxmi Bank on Friday reported an over five fold increase in its net profit to Rs 7.26 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
It had reported a net profit of Rs 1.32 crore in the year-ago period.
The bank's total income rose by 81 per cent to Rs 283.22 crore during October-December 2010 quarter from Rs 156.46 crore in the comparable period last year, the bank said in a BSE filing.
The private sector lender's shares closed at Rs 110.30, up 2.13 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
It had reported a net profit of Rs 1.32 crore in the year-ago period.
