Dalmia Bharat posts Rs 12.39 crore loss in Q3
Dalmia Bharat today reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 12.39 crore for the October-December quarter primarily on higher freights costs.

The company, which has interests in cement and refractory among others, had clocked Rs 18.30 crore net profit in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, it said in a BSE filing.
Total income of the company, however, rose to Rs 799 crore in the quarter from Rs 689 crore a year ago.
The net loss is mainly because of higher expenses which went up to Rs 639 crore from Rs 605 crore mainly because of higher freight charges.
The freight expenditure of the company went up to Rs 126 crore from Rs 103 crore a year earlier.
