Drug firm Claris Lifesciences today reported a 21.73 decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 10.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

NEW DELHI: Drug firm Claris Lifesciences today reported a 21.73 decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 10.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

The Ahmedabad-based company had posted a net profit of Rs 13.34 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.

However, net sales of the company rose to Rs 154.72 crore during the January-March quarter, compared to Rs 133.09 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.

For the fiscal ended March 31, the company posted a net profit of Rs 149.47 crore, while the same stood at Rs 84.40 crore during the previous fiscal.

Net sales of the company, stood at Rs 780.11 crore, while the same stood at Rs 658.37 crore during the previous year.

The company said the results of the year were not comparable to the previous year due to shifting of its financial year reporting from this year.

Shares of Claris today ended at Rs 306.20 apiece on the BSE, down 1.32 per cent from previous close.
