CIAL's logs Rs 102 crore profit in 2011-12

Cochin International Airport Private Limited has registered a net profit of Rs 102 crore and a total revenue of Rs 276 crore for the year 2011-12.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Cochin International Airport Private Limited has registered a net profit of Rs 102 crore and a total revenue of Rs 276 crore for the year 2011-12.

CIAL's net profit stood at Rs 90 crore and total revenue was at Rs 245 crore during 2010-11.

State Minister in charge of airport K Babu today handed over to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy a demand draft of Rs 15 crore as dividend for the shares held by state in CIAL, which has declared a dividend of 16 per cent to shareholders.

Cochin Nedumbassery International Airport (CIAL) is the first airport constructed under public private participation. The airport has 17,000 share holders.
