Century Plyboards Q4 results: Net profit increases nearly 14% to Rs 38.79 crore
PAT and net revenue from operations was almost flat at Rs158.16 crore and Rs 2282.67 crore respectively.

Net revenue from operations during the said period, however, dipped by 10.12 % to Rs 524.18 crore from Rs 583.22 crore posted in the corresponding previous quarter. Earnings before depreciation, interest and tax for the last quarter of the FY 2019-20 was up by 5.4 % at Rs 70.18 crore from Rs 66.58 crore clocked in the corresponding period of last financial year.
For the FY 2019-20, profit after tax and net revenue from operations was almost flat at Rs158.16 crore and Rs 2282.67 crore respectively.
During the year, the company took various initiatives taken to control costs which helped it to improve the overall margins, said a press statement issued by the company.
Commenting on the company's performance, Century Plyboards (I) chairman Sajjan Bhajanka said: "Recovery for laminates has been steep and the EBITDA margins are practically back to previous position... Reduced topline in plywood led to lower EBITDA margin but we are hopeful that in the second half of the current year, we will be back to our previous position with same EBITDA margin.”
