BPCL Q4 profit rises 16% YoY to Rs 3,125 crore; revenue up 10% at Rs 83,942 crore

Oil refining major Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) on Monday posted a 16.21 per cent year-on-year rise in profit at Rs 3,124.91 crore for the quarter ended March 31. The firm had posted a net of Rs 2,688.97 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue rose 10.33 per cent to Rs 83,941.67 crore from Rs 76,080.39 crore on a yearly basis.

Ebitda margins increased to 5.70 per cent in Q4FY19 over 4.9 per cent in the year-ago period. Ebitda jumped to Rs 4,805 crore during the quarter under review against Rs 3,746 crore.


The company’s average gross refining margin (GRM) came in at $4.58 per barrel for the full financial year against $6.85 last year.

The board of the company recommended a final dividend of Rs 8 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31.
