Biocon Q3 net up 24 pc to Rs 100.75 cr

MUMBAI: Biotechnology firm Biocon today posted a growth rate of 24.55 per cent in net profit at Rs 100.75 crore for the third qaurter ended December 31, 2010.
The company had a consolidated net profit of Rs 80.89 crore in the same period last fiscal, Biocon said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income of the firm also grew by 14.56 per cent to Rs 729.77 crore from Rs 637 crore in the same quarter last year, it added.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 384, up 1.72 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
