The profit after tax (PAT) grew by 3% on a sequential basis versus Rs 253 crore in Q2FY25 while the revenue was 7.3% higher on a quarter-on-quarter basis versus Rs 2,098 crore in the July-September quarter of FY2025.
The mobile services revenues were up 25.5% YoY, led by tariff repair, strong smartphone customer additions and sustained mix improvement, the company filing said.
Homes and Office business continued on a strong growth trajectory with revenue increasing 18.7% YoY.
The net customer additions of 44,000 were driven by growth in both FTTH and FWA.
The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 1,194 crore in the reported quarter while the EBITDA margin was reported at 53% up by 516 bps YoY.
EBITDAaL stood at Rs. 1,042 crore with a margin of 46.3%, up by 564 bps. The company has decided to disclose EBITDAaL as a key indicator of underlying financial health. By treating lease obligations as committed expenses, EBITDAaL provides a more accurate representation of profitability and leverage.
"Moving forward, management will be accountable for this key metric," the company filing said.
The EBIT was reported at Rs 662 crore while the EBIT margin was at 29.4%, up by 558 bps YoY.
The net income (before exceptional items) was at Rs 363 crore, up by 70.7% YoY.
The company's net debt (excluding lease obligations) to EBITDAaL ratio (annualised) was at 1.03 times.
