Bharat Forge Q2 net profit slips 3 per cent

NEW DELHI: Auto component maker Bharat Forge today reported 3.40 per cent decline in net profit for the quarter ended September 30 at Rs 102.78 crore.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 106.40 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, Bharat Forge said in a filing to the BSE.
The total income from operations during the second quarter also dipped by 4.66 per cent to Rs 867.59 crore from Rs 909.99 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
Shares of the company today closed 0.73 per cent down at Rs 271.20 apiece on the BSE.
