Bayer Crop Q3 net profit dips by 17 pc

NEW DELHI: Agro-chemical company Bayer CropScience Ltd today reported 17 per cent fall in net profit at Rs 903 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012.
The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 1,089.9 crore in the same quarter last year.
However, the net income rose to Rs 587.5 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal, from Rs 498.6 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.
Shares of the company closed lower at Rs 1,201.4 apiece on the BSE today.
