Balrampur Chini Q3 results: Profit down 63% to Rs 27 crore

Leading sugar firm Balrampur Chini on Tuesday reported a 63 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 26.89 crore for the quarter ended December.

Its net profit stood at Rs 72.50 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income fell to Rs 1,083.29 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal from Rs 1,202.60 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, the company said in a regulatory filing.
