Ashiana Housing profit before tax up by 19 pc

NEW DELHI: Realty firm Ashiana Housing Ltd on Monday reported 19 per cent increase in its profit before tax (PBT) to 7.95 crore, as against Rs 6.69 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's revenues rose by 16 per cent to Rs 29.41 crore from Rs 25.27 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year, the company said in a statement.

Ashiana Housing, which primarily focuses on development of retirement resorts, clocked the highest ever bookings of 3.40 lakh sq ft alone in the second quarter of this fiscal, as compared to 1.54 lakh sq ft of bookings in the corresponding quarter last year.

The consolidated revenue for the six-month period ended September 30, increased by 33 per cent to Rs 72.26 crores.
