Arvind Q2 net up 58.85 pc at Rs 62.27 crore

NEW DELHI: Textiles major Arvind Ltd today said its consolidated net profit rose by 58.85 per cent year-on-year to Rs 62.27 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2011.

The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 39.20 crore for the July-September quarter of 2010.

Consolidated net sales of the company stood at Rs 1,238.83 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as against Rs 1,022.15 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Shares of Arvind Ltd were being quoted at Rs 108.20 apiece in afternoon trade on the BSE today, up 0.60 per cent from their previous close.
